Posted Sep 24, 2013

Jaguars.com Senior Writer John Oehser ranks the 32 NFL teams before Week 4.

JACKSONVILLE – Here are the jaguars.com pre-Week 4 2013 power rankings. And we all know how important these are:

1. Denver Broncos (3-0) | 1 | Manning as good as ever – maybe better

2. Seattle Seahawks (3-0) | 2 | They are who we thought they were

3. New England Patriots (3-0) | 4 | What happens when they find their way?

4. New Orleans Saints (3-0) | 5 | Looking like the Saints again

5. Chicago Bears (3-0) | 8 | Looking very solid through three weeks

6. Miami Dolphins (3-0) | 9 | Surprising everyone but themselves

7. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) | 10 | Steady . . . and unbeaten

8. Indianapolis Colts (2-1) | 15 | Perception-changing victory in Frisco Sunday

9. Baltimore Ravens (2-1) | 11 | Not nearly as down as many believed

10. Houston Texans (2-1) | 7 | Shakier September than expected

11. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) | 13 | Big-time rally past Packers Sunday

12. Dallas Cowboys (2-1) | 14 | Can they find consistency?

13. San Francisco 49ers (1-2) | 3 | Seeing them outside Top 10 just, plain strange

14. Green Bay Packers (1-2) | 6 | Almost as strange as 49ers

15. Atlanta Falcons (1-2) | 12 | The 49ers, Packers and Falcons can’t be here long, can they?

16. Tennessee Titans (2-1) | 22 | Hard to put them higher, but they may deserve it

17. Detroit Lions (1-2) | 16 | Seem poised for a comeback season

18. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) | 17 | A little of the preseason luster coming off in Philly

19. San Diego Chargers (1-2) | 18 | Missed real opportunity to move over .500

20. New York Jets (2-1) | 26 | Moving on up

21. Buffalo Bills (1-2) | 19 | Close to 3-0, but still 1-2

22. Arizona Cardinals (1-2) | 20 | Stopping and starting early

23. Carolina Panthers (1-2) | 27 | Flashed a lot of potential on Sunday. Will it last?

24. St. Louis Rams (1-2) | 21 | Never in it against Dallas on Sunday

25. Oakland Raiders (1-2) | 28 | Facing Manning a different challenge than any other this season

26. Cleveland Browns (1-2) | 31 | NFL teams don’t play for draft picks

27. Washington Redskins (0-3) | 23 | Still looking for early answers

28. New York Giants (0-3) | 24 | A lot further away than many imagined

29. Minnesota Vikings (0-3) | 25 | A lot went right for the Vikings last season. Not so this season

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) |29 | Could patience be running short in Tampa

31. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-3) | 30 | The struggles in Steeltown continue

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-3) | 32 | Schedule doesn’t get much easier
