Posted Nov 12, 2013

Jaguars.com Senior Writer John Oehser ranks the 32 NFL teams before Week 11.

JACKSONVILLE – Here are the jaguars.com pre-Week 11 2013 power rankings. And we all know how important these are:

1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) | 1 | Handled bye week with dexterity, poise

2. Seattle Seahawks (9-1) | 2 | Home-field huge for the ‘Hawks; they may have it in postseason

3. Denver Broncos (8-1) | 4 | Manning’s ankle turning into huge second-half story

4. New England Patriots (7-2) | 5 | Nobody beats Belichick on a bye week. No one

5. New Orleans Saints (7-2) | 7 | Hard to lose when you roll up 10 first downs every quarter

6. Detroit Lions (6-3) | 9 | May be time to see Lions as real contender

7. Indianapolis Colts (6-3) | 3 | Life without Reggie Wayne could be tricky

8. Carolina Panthers (6-3) | 13 | May be league’s most improved team

9. San Francisco 49ers (6-3) | 6 | May be falling too far behind Seattle to catch up

10. Cincinnati Bengals (6-4) | 8 | Missed chance to put distance between them and division

11. Chicago Bears (5-4) | 10 | Still right in it in up-and-down NFC

12. Green Bay Packers (5-4) | 11 | Hard to win in NFL with decimated quarterback position

13. New York Jets (5-4) | 14 | Rex Ryan remains one of league’s best in the bye week

14. Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) | 17 | Nick Foles for Mayor

15. Arizona Cardinals (5-4) | 18 | Hanging around NFC playoff chase

16. Dallas Cowboys (5-5) | 12 | Defensive injuries may be too much to overcome

17. Baltimore Ravens (4-5) | 19 | Good enough to ruin a lot of teams’ seasons

18. San Diego Chargers (4-5) | 16 | Better than record, just not as good as KC and Denver

19. Tennessee Titans (4-5) | 20 | Missed a huge opportunity Sunday to close ground on Colts

20. Miami Dolphins (4-5) | 15 | Off-field issues will be tough to overcome

24. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-6) | 28 | Always odd to see them this low

30. Minnesota Vikings (2-7) | 30 | Impressive effort on national television Thursday
