Blake Bortles to Jags: Love the pick. I knew they loved him and they had to get a QB. He's the right guy. GRADE: A http://t.co/KPxAyHqyNs— Pete Prisco (@PriscoCBS) May 9, 2014
Rang called the draft “potentially a big win for an up-and-coming franchise,” and also graded the draft overall as an “A.”
Evan Silva of Rotoworld gave the Jaguars’ draft a “B .”
“I continue to believe the Jags are a team in ascent,” he wrote.
Fischer put the Jaguars’ draft in his “General Manager gets a sticker” category, and wrote that Bortles “could turn out to be the best quarterback in the draft down the road.”
