50/50 Raffle: Jacksonville Humane Society

Posted Aug 7, 2014

Jaguars Foundation and Jacksonville Humane Society team up for the Jaguars 50/50 Fan Raffle for Charity

For the second season, the Jaguars Foundation is continuing the Jaguars 50/50 Fan Raffle for Charity. This program gives fans an opportunity to raise money for the Jacksonville community and a chance to be the big winner. Each game, fans can purchase raffle tickets, with a chance to win half of the net proceeds.  The other half will benefit the Jaguars Foundation and a co-recipient charity, with each game benefiting a different charity.  For the opening preseason game this Friday, the Jacksonville Humane Society will be the benefiting charity of the game.

During the game, volunteers and staff will sell raffle tickets to fans.  There will be six permanent kiosks; located on the main concourse by the Bud Zone and near the ramps at Gates 2,3, and 4; as well as one in both the east and west lower clubs. Ten mobile sellers will be in the pre-game tailgate areas and in the stadium during the game through the end of the third quarter.  The winning raffle ticket number will be announced during the fourth quarter of the game. Winners do not need to be present to win.

The Jacksonville Humane Society’s mission is to provide care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals.

“We are thrilled to be the co-beneficiary of the Jaguars 50/50 raffle at Friday’s game,” stated Denise Deisler, Executive Director. “The Jaguars and the Jaguars Foundation have been very generous supporters of the Jacksonville Humane Society and we are proud to be partnering with them again to help raise funds for the animals and families we serve.”
