NFL Power Rankings: ‘Hawks come out of the bye No. 1

Posted Nov 26, 2013

Jaguars.com Senior Writer John Oehser ranks the 32 NFL teams before Week 13.

JACKSONVILLE – Here are the jaguars.com pre-Week 13 2013 power rankings. And we all know how important these are:

1. Seattle Seahawks (10-1) | 1 | One of most impressive bye weeks in recent memory

2. Denver Broncos (9-2) | 2 | Road loss … weird ending … stay put … for now

3. New Orleans Saints (9-2) | 4 | Can they win in Seattle? They may need to

4. New England Patriots (8-3) | 5 | Hard to see them not having No. 1 or 2 seed now

5. Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) | 3 | For this team, injuries to pass rushers are devastating

6. Carolina Panthers (8-3) | 6 | It’s time to realize they’re pretty good

7. Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) | 8 | Another team that looked very good over the bye

8. San Francisco 49ers (7-4) | 10 | Could be a very, very good No. 6 postseason seed

9. Arizona Cardinals (7-4) | 13 | Playing well – will have to maintain it to stay in playoff chase

10. Indianapolis Colts (7-4) | 7 | A lot of things to fix before postseason

11. Philadelphia Eagles (6-5) | 12 | Awesome bye week performance for Nick Foles

12. Detroit Lions (6-5) | 9 | Will they ever find consistency?

13. Dallas Cowboys (6-5) | 15 | Moved a lot closer to postseason Sunday

14. Chicago Bears (6-5) | 11 | Still hanging in first place

15. Green Bay Packers (5-5-1) | 14 | Not out of this yet

16. Baltimore Ravens (5-6) | 19 | In AFC, almost no one’s out of it

17. New York Jets (5-6) | 16 | First losing streak of season came at bad time

18. Miami Dolphins (5-6) | 17 | Off-field circumstance may be too tough to overcome

19. San Diego Chargers (5-6) | 20 | Can Rivers get hot enough to get them in?

20. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-6) | 24| Mammoth matchup with Baltimore Sunday

21. New York Giants (4-7) | 18 | Left themselves very little margin for error

22. St. Louis Rams (5-6) | 22 | Looking better and better, but soon enough?

23. Tennessee Titans (5-6) | 21 | Yes, they’re really the AFC’s No. 6 seed right now

24. Cleveland Browns (4-7) | 23| They’re not far off; just not yet
