JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars’ addressed their injured wide receiver position Thursday.
The Jaguars, who have had a slew of injuries at the receiver position in the first two weeks of organized team activities, claimed Kevin Smith off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals Thursday.

Smith (5-feet-11, 214 pounds), originally signed by Arizona as an undrafted rookie shortly after the 2014 NFL Draft, was waived Wednesday. He played four seasons at the University of Washington, catching 72 passes for 1,059 yards.
He caught 50 passes for 765 yards and four touchdowns as a senior after playing wide receiver and returning kickoffs as junior. He played in 12 of 13 games as a sophomore, averaging 25.9 yards on 52 kick returns and catching 15 passes for 207 yards.
