Biography

Eighth-year pro is regarded as one of the NFL’s top fullbacks … Plays major role in the Jaguars running game and served as lead blocker for two RBs (Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones-Drew) that have made three Pro Bowl appearances … Has played in 88 games with 55 starts … Career totals include 264 carries for 902 yards and nine TDs and 53 receptions for 354 yards and three TDs … Added eight kickoff returns for 109 yards and 22 special teams tackles … Missed final three games in 2009 and final four games in 2008 with ankle injury … Re-signed with the Jaguars in 2008 offseason … Missed the entire 2006 season with a torn ACL in his left knee… Named first alternate to the Pro Bowl and was voted team's Ed Block Courage Award winner in 2007 … Filled in for injured Fred Taylor in 2005 and rushed for a career-high 575 yards and four TDs … Posted two 100-yard rushing games in 2005 … Third-highest drafted running back by Jacksonville (55th overall) behind Fred Taylor and James Stewart, both first round picks … Selected with choice obtained from Green Bay in exchange for third and fourth round picks …
