COLLEGE (at Tennessee, 2010-12)

Played three years at Tennessee after transferring from the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif.

At Tennessee, he played in 37 games with 35 starts, totaling 76 receptions for 1,018 yards and six TDs

Became the second TE in program history to finish his career with more than 1,000 receiving yards, ranking second only to Reggie Harper (1,141)

As a senior, he ranked third on the team with 36 catches for 562 yards and five TDs and was named first-team All-SEC by the conference’s coaches

Set school TE records with 562 receiving yards, snapping the previous mark set by Jason Witten (493 yards) in 2002.

PERSONAL

Attended Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Calif. where he was teammates with current Jaguars DT Malik Jackson, and helped the team win the league title with a 13-1 record, as well as a fourth-place state ranking during his senior year

Rivera was also teammates with Jackson at Tennessee
