Chris Prescott is in his fourth season as the Southwest regional scout for the Jaguars. In 2008 he served as the northeast regional scout, and he has been with the department since 2002. Prescott is responsible for scouting the southwest region of the United States for the Jaguars.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., Prescott worked for the Bridgeport Bluefish minor league baseball team in 1999 and for Madison Square Garden in 2000, where he worked with the Hartford Wolfpack (New York Rangers minor league hockey affiliate) and the New England Seawolves (Arena League).
Prescott played safety for four years at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass., where he earned a degree in sports management and a master’s in business administration. He was born on October 28, 1979. He is single and lives in Jacksonville.
