Paul Roell

Assistant Director of College Scouting

A veteran NFL scout of 27 years, Paul Roell enters his fifth season as the Jaguars assistant director of college scouting after previously serving as regional scout for the Minnesota Vikings for seven seasons (2006-12). Roell has been a part of five division title teams in five of the last 11 seasons, including three AFC South titles with the Indianapolis Colts from 2003-05.  He spent 15 seasons (1991-2005) as a member of the Colts staff as an area scout. During his career with the Colts, he helped build a team that became one of the NFL’s elite.  The Colts went on to advance to the playoffs under three head coaches – Ted Marchibroda, Jim Mora and Tony Dungy.
