Boselli Placed on Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars today placed offensive tackle Tony Boselli on injured reserve. Boselli had undergone arthroscopic surgery last Monday to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. He played in three games this season.

His spot on the roster has been taken by OT Derrick Chambers, an undrafted rookie from the University of Florida who was signed off the Tennessee Titans' practice squad. Chambers, 23, is being switched from the defensive line to offensive tackle by the Jaguars. He went to training camp with the Carolina Panthers, was waived on August 28 and picked up by the Titans on October 4. The 6-4, 305-pound Chambers started 23 of 43 games played at defensive tackle for the Gators from 1997 to 2000. He will wear jersey No. 72.

The Jaguars also made two changes to their practice squad, waiving G Tyrone Hopson and signing LB Joe Wesley, who went to training camp with the team and played on special teams in the Seattle game.
