Collier, Durant not with team

Offensive tackle Richard Collier and linebacker Justin Durant will not be in uniform when the Jaguars play against the Saints on Sunday in New Orleans. The Jaguars announced on Saturday that Collier has been placed on the Reserve/Suspended list and Durant did not travel with the team to New Orleans. The Jaguars termed the Durant matter a "team decision."

Tight end Isaac Smolko was promoted from the team's practice squad to the active roster. Smolko, a first-year player from Penn State, was in the Steelers' training camp in '06. He will wear number 80.

Collier is in his second season with the Jaguars. He was an undrafted free agent from Valdosta State in '06. Collier is a native of Shreveport, La. He had been inactive for the Jaguars' first seven games.

Durant was selected by the Jaguars in the second round of this year's NFL draft. His absence in New Orleans means the Jaguars will only have four linebackers on their roster on Sunday.
