Father & Kids Day set for July 29th

The Weaver Family Foundation and the Jacksonville Jaguars will host the 4th Annual Father & Kids Day during training camp on Monday, July 29 from 3:30 – 6 p.m. on the East side of the practice fields of ALLTEL Stadium.

Since 1999, the Jaguars have partnered with Family First, a Tampa-based non-profit organization that promotes the importance of being a good dad and how responsible fatherhood impacts the family and our communities. The free event gives parents and their kids the opportunity to watch the Jaguars practice and listen to athletes and coaches speak about the importance of fatherhood.

Delores Barr Weaver, Chair/ CEO of the Jaguars Foundation, head coach Tom Coughlin, quarterback Mark Brunell and other players will share their personal stories following the completion of afternoon practice. Jaguars' play-by-play announcer Brian Sexton will again serve as host for the event.

Practice and registration begins at 3:30 p.m. followed by the program and prize giveaways. The first 1,500 parents and children will receive goodie bags and be eligible to win other great prizes.
