JACKSONVILLE – Practice resumed Saturday, and so did the difficult conditions.

Those conditions? The 89-degree temperatures during a two-and-half hour, padded practice on Day 12 of Jaguars 2018 Training Camp.

The Jaguars worked in full pads Saturday, two days after the 2018 preseason opener against the defending NFC South champion New Orleans Saints. It also was a day marked by the return of defensive end Dante Fowler Jr., who was removed from the Physically Unable to Perform list after not practicing through the first two and a half weeks of '18 camp.

Fowler had been on PUP with a shoulder issue.

The Jaguars will practice against the defending NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis Wednesday and Thursday, with the two teams playing a preseason game in Minneapolis Saturday, August 18.

Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone spoke inside TIAA Bank Field shortly before practice. Coverage of his Saturday media availability can be found on jaguars.com.

Here's a look at Day 11 practice:

PLAY OF THE DAY

This came from wide receiver D.J Chark Jr., who continued an impressive two-week stretch in '18 camp. Chark went high for a long pass down the left side of the field from Kessler and caught the pass for a 30-yard gain over rookie cornerback Quenton Meeks.

INJURY WATCH

The following players did not practice Saturday: linebacker Blair Brown (concussion protocol), linebacker Brooks Ellis (concussion protocol), nose tackle Eli Ankou (knee), left guard Andrew Norwell (calf), offensive tackle Will Richardson (shoulder), wide receiver Shane Wynn (foot) and defensive end Dawuane Smoot (ankle).

Defensive end Calais Campbell (calf) and wide receiver Keelan Cole (foot) returned to practice after missing the Saints game Thursday, and wide receiver DeAndre Smelter (concussion protocol) also returned to practice. Smelter caught a 15-yard pass from Kessler later in practice.

Right tackle Jermey Parnell (knee) and defensive lineman Taven Bryan (abdominal), with Marrone saying early in the day Bryan could return before or for the dual practices Wednesday and Thursday in Minnesota.
