Rookie cornerback Derek Cox intercepted Chad Henne midway through the fourth quarter, his third interception this season. The three interceptions are the second-most by a Jaguars rookie (Reggie Nelson, 5, 2007) in team history. Cox has four takeaways (3 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery), tied for the third-most in team history for a rookie.

##### Harvey records sack in back-to-back games

Second-year defensive end Derrick Harvey sacked Chad Henne for a seven-yard loss in the third quarter, his second consecutive game with a sack. Harvey has 5.5 career sacks including two this season.

Jaguars thrive on big plays

The Jaguars recorded their sixth play of 60-plus yards on Sunday as David Garrard connected with Torry Holt on a 63-yard completion in the third quarter. The six plays of 60-plus yards are tied for the most in franchise history (6, 1998). It marked the club's 28th completion of 25-plus yards.

Maurice Jones-Drew had 59 yards on 18 carries and two receptions for 24 yards. Jones-Drew moved into fifth place in team history for career receptions with 192, surpassing Pete Mitchell (191). Jones-Drew surpassed James Stewart (765) for the second-most rushes in team history with 781. Fred Taylor holds the franchise record with 2,428 from 1998-2008. Additional notes:

  • Jones-Drew established a career-high for yards from scrimmage in a season with 1,439, surpassing his previous high of 1,389 in 2008.
  • Has 251 carries for 1,136 yards through 13 games, joining Fred Taylor as the only players in team history to have 250-plus rushes in a season.
  • Recorded a reception in his 48th consecutive game, the fourth-longest streak in team history.
  • Moved into a tie for third place in team history for single-season touchdowns with 14.

##### Smith shows knack for making plays

Jaguars safety Anthony Smith has made an impact in his first five games with the club. Smith was claimed off waivers from St. Louis on November 7. He recovered a Davone Bess fumble in the second quarter. He recorded an interception against Buffalo on November 22 and intercepted Rex Grossman last Sunday against Houston.
