JACKSONVILLE – Leonard Fournette is back.
So is A.J. Cann – and the status of those two players was the major Jaguars news as kickoff approached on Sunday.
Fournette, the team's starting running back who missed Weeks 2 and 3 with a hamstring injury sustained in a Week 1 victory over the New York Giants, was not among the Jaguars' seven inactives announced 90 minutes before kickoff of their game against the New York Jets Sunday.
The Jaguars and Jets will play at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville Sunday at 1 p.m.
Cann, the team's starting right guard who missed the team's Week 3 loss to Tennessee with a triceps injury, also was not among the seven inactives Sunday. Both he and Fournette are expected to start against the Jets.
Cann sustained his triceps injury in a Week 2 victory over New England.
The Jaguars' seven inactives Sunday: offensive guard Chris Reed, cornerback D.J. Hayden (toe), defensive end Dawuane Smoot, wide receiver Rashad Greene Sr., offensive tackle Will Richardson Jr., running back Brandon Wilds and nose tackle Eli Ankou.
Hayden missed last week's loss to Tennessee. Tyler Patmon played the nickel corner position in his place.
