In and out: Lawson, O'Shaughnessy out

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Jaguars' inactives were mostly as expected Sunday.

Tight end James O'Shaughnessy and cornerback Nevin Lawson, both of whom had been ruled out in recent days, were among four inactive players for the Jaguars (2-13) in their game against the New England Patriots (9-6) at Gillette Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m.

Also inactive for the Jaguars: linebacker Dakota Allen (shoulder) and running back Mekhi Sargent. All four players were announced as inactive 90 minutes before kickoff.

O'Shaughnessy missed with a hip injury, Lawson missed with a hip injury and Allen missed with a shoulder injury. Allen had been questionable on Friday's final injury report of the week.

The Jaguars also will be without multiple front-line players/starters on the COVID-19 list, including: Defensive end/linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson, defensive end/linebacker Lerentee McCray, center Brandon Linder, defensive tackle offensive tackle Cam Robinson, returner Jaydon Mickens, cornerback Shaquill Griffin, defensive lineman Dawuane Smoot, defensive tackle Jay Tufele and safety Andrew Wingard.
