EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Jaguars' pre-game news Thursday was as expected.
Rookie outside linebacker Travon Walker and tackle Foley Fatukasi, a pair of defensive starters, were among the Jaguars' seven inactive players for their primetime game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium Thursday. The two had been ruled out Wednesday.
Walker will miss a second consecutive game with an ankle injury while Fatukasi will miss with an ankle injury sustained in a victory over Dallas Sunday.
Five Jaguars players listed as questionable on the week's final injury report Wednesday are expected to play. They are: Quarterback Trevor Lawrence (toe), right tackle Jawaan Taylor (hamstring), safety Andrew Wingard (shoulder), linebacker Chad Muma (ankle) and right guard Brandon Scherff (abdomen).
Five other Jaguars players also were made inactive 90 minutes before kickoff:
- Wide receiver Kendric Pryor
- Cornerback Montaric Brown
- Cornerback Gregory Junior
- Outside linebacker De'Shaan Dixon
- Outside linebacker Cam Robinson
