The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced ticket pricing for the 2011 season. While prices for one year general bowl season tickets will increase between $1.50 and $4 per game – the first increase in the last three years – pricing will remain flat for West Touchdown Club and MPS Group Terrace Suite seats, with six sections of the East Touchdown Club receiving significant price reductions.
The Jaguars are also offering general bowl seat owners the opportunity to avoid the increase by signing up for the remaining two seasons of the club's popular 30/30 Plan, which locks in their current 2010 price for the next two years. This opportunity is available only until December 1st, 2010. The 30/30 Plan allows season ticket purchasers to pay annually or spread payments over 20 months.
Jaguars average ticket prices remain lower than the National Football League team average and are also lower than five teams with similar market size to Jacksonville (Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kansas City, New Orleans and Tennessee). The Jaguars remain one of the most competitively-priced teams in the NFL, ranking 30th out of the 32 teams. A full list of 2011 pricing is available at www.jaguars.com/tickets/2011pricingmap.
Purchasing season tickets to Jaguars games at EverBank Field remains the best-value option for fans, with season tickets priced up to 34% less than comparable seats purchased on game day. Along with receiving the lowest-priced seats available, season ticket owners also receive a number of additional benefits, including:
- The opportunity to extend payments for their seats with interest-free payment plans
- A Jaguars Rewards discount card that provides discounts at First Coast area merchants
- A Teal Deals gift certificates book that included over $3,000 worth of savings in 2010
- An opportunity to purchase single-game seats ahead of the general public and to secure their current regular season seats for any home playoff games
- The opportunity to forward or resell tickets through Ticket Forwarding and Ticket Exchange
- The chance to relocate their seats at an annual seat relocation event ahead of the general public
- Entry into season ticket owner early renewal sweepstakes and prize competitions throughout the year
Pricing on seats in the West Touchdown Club and Terrace Suite will remain flat, with six sections in the East Touchdown Club being reduced significantly, from $2,100 to $1,325 in sections 236 and 237 for a three-year season ticket and from $2,100 to $1,800 in sections 135, 136, 137 and 138 on the three-year season ticket.
"We have maintained a price structure which provides the best value to our most loyal fans – our season ticket owners – while at the same time allowing the Jaguars to stay competitive with the rest of the NFL," said Jaguars Senior Vice President/Sales & Marketing Macky Weaver.
"In addition," Weaver added, "we are also giving fans an opportunity to avoid the 2011 price increase on one-year tickets in the general bowl by signing up for our 30/30 Plan which allows them to lock in their current price for the next two seasons. We encourage all of our one-year general bowl seat owners to take advantage of this offer, which will end on December 1st, by calling our ticket office at 904/633-2000."
Included in the Jaguars regular season home schedule at EverBank Field for 2011 are AFC South Division rivals Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans and matchups against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a yet to be determined AFC West team and two preseason opponents.
