JAGUARS END TRAINING CAMP

The Jacksonville Jaguars ended their 1997 training camp today with the final sessions of two-a-day practices. The Jaguars begin their in-season schedule on Thursday, with daily practices beginning at 1:20 p.m. All practice sessions are closed to the public.

Running back Natrone Means (ankle) and wide receiver Keenan McCardell (knee) missed both practices but neither injury is serious.

"Things take on a sense of urgency now," said head coach Tom Coughlin. "We don't have a lot of snaps from now on during practices and there's still a lot to accomplish."
