Jaguars Give & Go 100

In partnership with the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, the Jaguars Foundation and the DuBow Family Foundation, local nonprofits participating in the Jaguars Give & Go 100 ticket incentive program have sold more than 3,000 Jaguars single gameday tickets, generating $100,000 in revenue for their organizations.

Through an NFL charitable initiative, the Jaguars support local 501(c)3 nonprofits by offering them a chance to earn $10 every time they sell one of the exclusive, discounted Give and Go Jaguars tickets.  The DuBow Family Foundation and the Jaguars Foundation provide a special matching incentive that can add up to an additional $20 to the participating organizations.  Nonprofits selling 100 or more tickets earn up to $30 per ticket, or $3,000 or more.

The program is off to a great start for the 2014 season.   Sixteen nonprofits have already sold over 100 game day tickets and raised $3,000 or more; and five organizations have sold more than 300 tickets, raising $9,000 or more for their causes.

Peter Racine, Jaguars Foundation President, stated, "Give and Go 100 is truly a 'win-win' for nonprofits and the community we all live in.  It gives the Jaguars Foundation the opportunity to support nonprofits that are not in the Foundation's priority funding areas.  Of course, organizations that are core to the Jaguars Foundation's mission have an opportunity raise additional dollars through Give & Go to support their programs."

Rena Coughlin, President of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, added, "For a final bonus, any participating nonprofit can boost their organization's visibility and fundraising potential by creating a project on the Nonprofit Center's local charitable marketplace website,"

The Jacksonville Humane Society's Executive Director,  Denise Deisler, explained their success at selling 300 tickets this way: "Give and Go mirrors principles important to the Jacksonville Humane Society – partnership, loyalty, community – so we place high value on this innovative program.  For homeless animals, the funds generated literally mean the difference between neglect and nurturing, hurting and health, loneliness and a loving home. It doesn't get any better than supporting your hometown team while supporting homeless animals!"

Peg Ganger, Executive Director of Girls Inc., another nonprofit with more than 300 tickets sold, noted, "The Give & Go program has become a serious fundraiser for Girls Inc. of Jacksonville.  What makes this fundraising opportunity so wonderful is we have no risk or upfront expense.  We earn money for each discounted ticket we sell.  It's a win-win for fans and for nonprofits who take advantage of the program!"
