Jaguars make four roster moves, reduce roster to 54

The Jaguars waived four players with NFL experience in safety Sherrod Martin, cornerback Jamell Fleming, wide receiver Kerry Taylor and linebacker Nate Stupar.

It was announced Friday that rookie guard Tyler Shatley was waived but he remains on the current roster. The club turned in all 21 cuts to the NFL on Saturday.

Other players previously announced as being waived were C Mike Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, OT Cody Booth, DL DeAndre Coleman, DT Ricky Havili-Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern. TE D.J. Tialavea and LB Marcus Whitfield. *Veteran wide receiverTandon Doss(ankle) and rookie cornerbackRashaad Reynolds(hand) were placed on injured reserve after suffering injuries in the club's preseason finale against Atlanta. First-year TE Brandon Barden *(groin) was waived/injured

NFL teams may begin signing practice squad players at noon on Sunday.
