Jaguars make several roster moves; sign offensive lineman Rob McGill

The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed rookie offensive lineman Rob McGill to the roster.  Second-year offensive lineman Kevin Haslam was waived/injured and rookie guard Troy White was waived from the roster. Haslam suffered a knee injury in the team's scrimmage on Saturday. If he clears waivers he will revert to the Jaguars injured reserve list.

McGill, 6-6, 310, was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Atlanta Falcons and was waived yesterday.  The Metairie, Louisiana native was a four-year starter at Louisiana Tech.  He earned second-team All-WAC honors twice in his career and has ability to play guard and tackle.  He attended Grace King High School for three years before transferring to Quachita Christian High in Monroe as a senior following Hurricane Katrina.
