The Jacksonville Jaguars held their final two practices today and will fly to Charlotte, N.C. tomorrow for their first preseason game of the year. Kickoff against the Panthers is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Ericsson Stadium.

On Thursday, the Jaguars did limited work in preparation for the game, as they continued their training camp schedule. "We introduced Carolina some, and it wasn't bad," said head coach Tom Coughlin. "Usually the first time you do that with the young players, they're all over the place. But it was good today. We also spent some time on special teams."

Coughlin named several players who will not make the road trip because of injuries: C Michael Cheever (back), DT Don Davey (knee), LB Bryce Paup (groin), WR Kevin Lee (hamstring) and RB Chris Parker (knee).

"I will play everybody who makes the trip," Coughlin said. "The starters will work in the first quarter and the twos will work in the second quarter. The ones may come back to start the third quarter; I'll see. There'll be a combination of twos, threes and fours the remainder of the game. But the objective is for everybody to play. I'll be looking for execution and physical play, and guys who play without errors."

The Jaguars will have a closed walk-through on Friday before leaving for Carolina in the afternoon.
