The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed center Kevin Long, a unrestricted free agent from the Tennessee Titans.
Long, 27, was a seventh-round draft choice of the Titans in 1998 out of Florida State, where he played with Jaguars teammates Todd Fordham and Larry Smith. In his four NFL seasons, he has started 35 of 63 games played. He started all 16 games in 2000 and five games in '01. The 6-5, 295-pound Long also served as the Titan's long snapper. At Florida State, he was a four-year letterman and first-team All-America in 1998. He is a native of Summerville, S.C.
The addition of Long brings the Jaguars' roster to 92 players.
