JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' foray into free agency continued Wednesday.
Dekoda Watson, a linebacker who previously played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Jaguars on Wednesday, a day after the Jaguars made several major roster moves.
Watson, 26, a seventh-round selection by the Buccaneers in the 2010 NFL Draft, has spent four seasons in Tampa Bay. He has played in 60 of 64 games for the Buccaneers, starting six games. He has three sacks and four passes defensed.
Watson played collegiately at Florida State.
The Jaguars on Tuesday night agreed to terms with former Minnesota Vikings running back Toby Gerhart hours after it was announced that former Denver Broncos offensive guard Zane Beadles is expected to sign with the team.
The team also traded quarterback Blaine Gabbert to the San Francisco 49ers and re-signed veteran cornerback Will Blackmon to a two-year contract.
