Jaguars in the Community presented by Visit Florida will be celebrating Armed Forces Day at the National Event in Guildford on Saturday 27th June.
Jaguars in the Community is the initiative of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. Since 2013, the Jaguars have played one home game each year at London's Wembley Stadium and, as part of this commitment, the team is making significant efforts to benefit local communities across London and the UK.
The event in Guildford will see The Ministry of Defence band kick-start proceedings with live music from 10.30am. The Armed Forces Day parade will begin at 11.30am along Guildford High Street to Stoke Park where the Jaguars in the Community programme will be set-up along with military displays, live music and family entertainment. Visitors will also be treated to a parachute drop from the Raiders, the Royal Navy Parachute Display Team, and the day will draw to a close with an impressive fly-past of current and historic aircraft.
The Jaguars in the Community activity will feature Jaguars giveaways, inflatable American Football games and the chance to win a signed Jaguars helmet for those signing up to the free Union Jax Fan Club. A limited range of Jaguars merchandise will also be on sale.
The Stoke Park event is free to attend and no tickets are required.
