JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars will be without defensive end Josh Allen Sunday.
Allen, a second-year veteran who sustained a knee injury in a loss to Cincinnati last week, did not travel with the team for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans (0-4) at NRG Stadium in Houston. Allen made the Pro Bowl last season and his two sacks lead the Jaguars (1-3) this season.
The Jaguars on Saturday also moved weakside linebacker Quincy Williams (core muscle injury) and safety Jarrod Wilson (hamstring) to the 53-man roster from the reserve/injured-designated for return list. They also used a practice squad standard elevation spot on defensive lineman Caraun Reid.
The Jaguars now have 53 players on their active roster.
