JACKSONVILLE – Brandon Linder will miss practice Thursday with a knee sprain.
The extent of the injury was not initially announced by the team, but the injury raises the question of whether the Jaguars' starting center will play against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday.
The Jaguars also on Thursday announced that reserve tight end Ben Koyack will miss practice Thursday with a torn meniscus. Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley likely will discuss the injuries more extensively following practice Thursday afternoon.
The Jaguars on Wednesday practiced without left tackle Kelvin Beachum, who sustained a concussion against the San Diego Chargers Sunday and who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol.
If Beachum and Linder are both unavailable Sunday, one potential starting lineup could include Luke Joeckel moving from left guard to left tackle. Joeckel started the past two seasons at left tackle before starting the first two games of this regular season at guard.
Reserves Tyler Shatley and Chris Reed could start at center and guard, respectively. Reed worked with the starters when Beachum was out with a knee injury during the preseason and Shatley has worked extensively at center.
