Jarrod Highberger is in his 11th season overall with the Jaguars and eighth season as a scout after being promoted from scouting assistant to college scout on May 6, 2013. He is responsible for scouting the Southwest.
Highberger joined the Jaguars in December 2010 as an administrative assistant in the player personnel department following a two-year coaching tenure at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he served as the quarterbacks coach under Head Coach Joe Walton. The Colonials were Northeast Conference champions in 2010.
A native of Blairsville, Pa., Highberger earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he was a four-year starter at quarterback for the Tartans under Head Coach Rich Lackner. He obtained a master's degree from Robert Morris University in Instructional Leadership during his coaching tenure.
Highberger is married and resides in Pittsburgh.
