JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted first-year WR Jaydon Mickens to the active roster from the team's practice squad, the club announced today. To make room on the roster, the Jaguars waived first-year WR Max McCaffrey.

Mickens, 5-11, 170, was originally signed by Oakland as an undrafted rookie on May 12, 2016, and spent the entire 2016 season on the Raiders' practice squad. He was waived by Oakland on Sept. 2, 2016, and signed to the Jaguars' practice squad on Sept. 19.

Mickens played collegiately at the University of Washington, appearing in 53 career games and totaling 203 receptions for 2,187 yards (10.8 rec. avg.) and 12 TDs.
