JACKSONVILLE – Allen Robinson is Honolulu-bound after all.

Robinson, the Jaguars' second-year wide receiver, has been named to the 2016 Pro Bowl.

The league announced Robinson's selection Thursday afternoon.

Robinson, originally named a first alternate to the game, will replace Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Johnson will not attend the game because of injury.

The 2016 Pro Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sunday, January 31.

Robinson, a second-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft from Penn State University, caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and a franchise-record 14 touchdowns this past season.

Robinson's receiving yards were the second-most in franchise history behind Jimmy Smith's 1,636 in 1999. His 17.5-yards-per-reception average led all NFL receivers with 80 or more receptions by more than two yards.

Robinson is the first Jaguars player named to the Pro Bowl since middle linebacker Paul Posluszny following the 2013 season.
