JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed sixth-year RB DuJuan Harris, the club announced today. To make room on the roster, the team waived/injured CB Charles Gaines.

Harris, 5-7, 206, began his professional career with the Jaguars in 2011, when he played in five games and tallied nine rushes for 42 yards during his rookie season. His six-year career includes two years in Green Bay (2012 & 2014), one stop in Seattle (2015) and, most recently, two seasons with San Francisco (2015-16). The Brooksville, Fla. native rushed for a career-high 38 times for 138 yards last season with the 49ers, and added eight receptions for 115 yards and one TD.

Harris started in 28 of 50 career games at Troy, finishing his career ranked third in program history with 2,635 rushing yards. He scored 32 career TDs (27 rushing, five receiving) and helped the program reach a bowl game in his final three seasons.

Gaines signed with Jacksonville on July 31 and saw action in the team's first two preseason games.

The Jaguars currently have 90 players on their active roster.
