Lycamobile becomes an official partner of NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars

Lycamobile, the world’s largest mobile virtual network operator, has become an Official UK Founding Partner and Official Mobile Network Partner of the Jacksonville Jaguars.


LONDON, UK: 26th September 2017 - It has been announced today that Lycamobile, the world’s largest mobile virtual network operator, has become an Official UK Founding Partner and Official Mobile Network Partner of the professional American National Football League [NFL] team, the Jacksonville Jaguars [Jaguars].

The Jaguars, which are the first and only team to have made a multi-year commitment to play in the NFL London Games at Wembley and who defeated the Baltimore Ravens 44-7 on Sunday for their third straight victory in London, have signed a multi-year partnership with Lycamobile, an equally ambitious transatlantic organisation with a vast international customer base. The partnership with the Jaguars will help Lycamobile expand its offering to USA consumers while also developing stronger connections with consumers in the UK, where the Lycamobile business continues to grow.

The strategic partnership will see Lycamobile take the naming rights of the ‘Jaguars Jam’, an online weekly press conference that features a star Jaguars player answering questions from UK media and fans, the first of its kind for an NFL team. The Jaguars and Lycamobile will also collaborate on a range of marketing initiatives and fan competitions, giving Jaguars fans the chance to win dream tickets to watch the Jaguars play in Jacksonville, Florida or at Wembley, London in 2018.

In the USA, Lycamobile will enjoy a number of branding and fan engagement opportunities at EverBank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Jacksonville, Florida. Lycamobile will create unique environments for fans in the South End Zone – a newly renovated area for food and beverage concessions in the stadium – and as fans arrive at EverBank Field through one of the iconic stadium entrance gates, rebranded ‘The Lycamobile Gate’. The partnership will also see Lycamobile and the Jaguars team up on a series of fan activations at every Jaguars home game, including competitions and Lycamobile-led product interaction opportunities, giving fans unique benefits and experiences.
