Marty Miller is in his 14th season with the Jaguars, joining the organization on February 21, 2002. He is in his ninth season as the West coast regional scout for the Jaguars. In addition to covering the West coast, Miller has some additional pro personnel responsibilities scouting select free agents on NFL rosters.
Previously, Miller worked the northeast United States as a regional scout. In his initial season in Jacksonville, he worked as the team’s scouting assistant. In that capacity, he assisted the pro scouting department evaluating players in NFL Europe, the CFL, the Arena League and doing some advance scouting of NFL teams and their practice squads.
Miller also served as coordinator of football administration for the Los Angeles Xtreme of the XFL, and he worked as a part-time staff assistant for the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is the son of Les Miller, a longtime NFL personnel director. Diagnosed with Young Onset of Parkinson’s Disease in 2009, Miller hopes to use his platform as a representative of the NFL as a springboard to Parkinson’s awareness and education. A graduate of Pacific Christian College, he and his wife, Kerinda, live in Boise, Idaho, with daughter Channing and son Gannon.
