The one-mile fun run begins at 9:30a.m., and the 5K run and walk at 10:00a.m. This is the only race event in Jacksonville that will start and finish inside EverBank Field, where participants can see themselves cross the finish line on the world's largest video screens.Â
Regardless if you are a runner or walker, there will be plenty of family-friendly activities including face painting, obstacle courses, refreshments, live music provided by the popular Eleven22 Band and much more!
All proceeds from this annual event go to the McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation which supports local and global efforts to help youth recognize their full potential. Locally, the Foundation operates two McKenzie's Academic Resource Centers (MARCs) which provide free tutoring and academic programs to over 300 students and are a place for these students to grow and thrive. Â Globally, the Foundation built three homes at the Okoa Refuge Orphanage in Uganda, Africa and in partnership with Okoa, provides medical care, food, shelter, education and love to over 75 children living there.
