Extension: Jaguars, Travon Walker Agree to Terms

JACKSONVILLETravon Walker will be in Jacksonville for the long term.

Walker and the Jaguars have agreed to terms on a contract extension, the team confirmed Friday. Duration and terms were not officially disclosed, but reports were that it was a four-year deal worth $110 million with $77 million guaranteed.

Walker, a defensive end and the No. 1 overall selection by the Jaguars in the 2022 NFL Draft, has started 60 of 63 career games – and started 17 regular-season games in 2023 and 2024 when he registered 10 and 10.5 sacks, respectively.

He started 12 of 14 games in 2025, playing through a wrist injury and a knee injury as the Jaguars went 13-4 with an AFC South championship. He registered 38 tackles, 19 solo, and eight tackles for loss with 3.5 sacks and 13 quarterback hits.

Walker, one of the NFL's best defensive ends against the run, has 27.5 sacks in four NFL seasons with three forced fumbles and 200 tackles, 101 solo, with 36 tackles for loss and 57 quarterback hits. He also has seven career passes defensed.
