Sold out for Sunday

The Jaguars previously announced that single game tickets are sold out for the regular season opener versus the Green Bay Packers.  Very limited inventory remains for Sunday as part of season ticket packages. Season ticket information is available at www.jaguars.com/more or by calling 904.633.2000.

Pregame patriotism

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early as the Jaguars and the NFL pause to remember the events of Sept. 11.  Following the PROWL and player introductions, a 100-yard field flag will be displayed by First Coast military members and first responders.  After a moment of silence, the national anthem will be performed by saxophonist "Funky" Leroy Harper, Jr.  A flyover will then be conducted by two F-15C Eagle Fighter jets from the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard.  The pilots for Sunday are Florida Air National Guard citizen-airmen Lt. Col. Randy Reep and Maj. Shelby Robb.

Halftime #JagSalute

This week the Jaguars issued a call to fans to submit photos of local military members and first responders using the hashtag #JagSalute.  The photos are being incorporated by the Jags Cinema team into a special halftime tribute on the world's largest video boards.  The video will be shown during a performance of "God Bless America" by the world-famous Liberty Voices, an eight-part acapella group. The halftime salute is in addition to the Jaguars' traditional game day celebration of military through programs like Hometown Hero, Veteran of the Game and 4th Quarter Bell Ringer.

New safety procedures in place

Starting this season, fans arriving at EverBank Field on game day will be screened by walk-through magnetometers at all entry gates. Fan safety is a priority to the Jaguars and EverBank Field. To help expedite entry into the stadium, fans should keep small items such as keys and coins in their pockets and be prepared to put larger items such as cell phones, camera and binoculars in the bins.

You are encouraged to leave your bag at home, but if you need to bring a bag, it should be either bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag or a small clutch, approximately the size of a hand.  For complete details on what you can bring to EverBank, visit www.jaguars.com/allclear.

To and from the 'Bank

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) Gameday Xpress will be in operation this Sunday.  It operates from two downtown locations and three suburban locations (the Beaches, Mandarin, Southside).  Service begins two hours before kickoff and operates one hour after the game ends.  Complete details and ticket information is available at www.jtafla.com

All sports complex parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff.  Limited parking remains in the Sports Complex Garage near Veterans Memorial Arena.  Parking is $25 and must be paid in cash upon arrival.   Although they are not operated by the Jaguars, the Jacksonville Fairgrounds and the Tailgaters Parking Lot are also options that many fans use on game day. The Jacksonville Fairgrounds, located on the west side of the stadium, can be reached at (904) 353-0535 or visit www.jacksonvillefair.com. For information on the Tailgaters Parking Lot on the east side of the stadium, please call (904) 353-1126 or visit www.tailgatersparking.com.
