Take the PLAY 60 Challenge

As part of the NFL PLAY 60 movement, the Jacksonville Jaguars will welcome more than 1,200 students from across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia to EverBank Field on Sunday.  More than 100 children representing Joseph Stillwell Middle in Duval County and Valley Ridge Academy in St. Johns County will hold the field flag during pre-game ceremonies.  An additional 50 students from Alden Road Exceptional Student Center will line the PROWL and welcome the Jaguars onto the field.

All 1,200 participating students are currently enrolled in the PLAY 60 Challenge presented in partnership with THE PLAYARS CENTER for Child Health at Wolfson Children's Hospital, the American Heart Association, Southeast Georgia Health System and the Dairy Council of Florida.  The students have each taken on the challenge of making healthy eating choices and being active for 60 minutes a day.  In recognition of their efforts, they will be seated in our Honor Rows in sections 442 and 443, presented in partnership with Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow.

Beat the heat with pregame preparation

The Florida sunshine will be back in full force on Sunday.  To stay cool, fans are encouraged to wear light colored clothing and avoid layering.  In addition, fans should take steps to hydrate in the days leading up to the game.  Attendees can stop by any guest services booth for a complimentary small cup to use at water fountains.  In the event a fan does not feel well, they can notify the nearest guest services team member or text "ASSIST"

followed by their location and issue to 58154*.

At EverBank Field, the Sea Best Cool Zones are open to all fans and feature air-conditioned cooling benches and misting fans.  The main Cool Zone is located in the south end zone directly below the Bud Light Party Zone on the ground level.  Other locations include the north end zone near section 119 and the north end of the east and west upper deck concourses.  JTA will also have air conditioned buses placed on the plaza level near gates 2 and 4 to offer fans a respite from the heat.

New routes around Daily's Place

Pardon our dust!  The City of Jacksonville and the Jaguars broke ground on Daily's Place in mid-August and construction is well underway.  Fencing around the future amphitheater and covered flex field will ensure fan safety throughout the season.  Beginning Sunday, fans will notice a few detours as the ground-level escalators in the south end zone are closed for construction for the remainder of the season.  Plenty of alternative routes are available and increased stadium signage will ensure fans find the easiest route to their seats.

The majority of fans needing access to the south end zone general bowl, the Bud Light Party Zone, the Terrace Suite and the Sky Patio should look to take the ramps located near Gates 1 and 4.  As always, elevators are available in the south end zone for guests with medical needs.  Guest services staff are standing by to help point fans in the right direction.

Pokémon safari comes back to the 'Bank

Pikachu makes his return to EverBank Field this Sunday for the second generation Pokémon Safari.  In July, the Jaguars welcomed more than 15,000 fans to the first-of-its-kind event.  This Sunday fans can combine their love of the Jaguars with their passion for Pokémon.  The team will be throwing out lures from all five Pokéstops around EverBank Field and all participants will receive a limited edition collectable gym badge.  Fans will need a ticket to the Jags game in order to be in the stadium to play, and tickets are available for as low as $55 at www.jaguars.com/pokemon.

Pregame performers

This week's national anthem will be performed by the Jacksonville Children's Chorus.  ROAR Cheerleader Brooke Page will provide sign language interpretation.  The colors will be presented by the University of North Florida Army ROTC.  In honor of the United States Air Force birthday on September 18, a flyover will be conducted by two F-15C Eagle Fighter Jets from the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard following the national anthem.
