JACKSONVILLE – With Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley on the field Thursday night for the team walkthrough, the "Gus Bradley Show" featured a few special guests with co-host Jeff Lageman.

Jaguars director of pro personnel Chris Driggers, assistant director of player personnel Andy Dengler and director of college scouting Kyle O'Brien joined the show to discuss a few of the position battles early in training camp.

On Thursday night's "Gus Bradley Show":

  • Dengler on Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles: "The one thing that Blake's getting now are number-one reps that he didn't get at this time in training camp last year. So, it's really important that he's been able to work with the receivers he's going to throw to. I think he's done a good job adjusting to the new offense. I think he's had a good camp."
  • Driggers on the battle at the center position between Luke Bowanko and Stefen Wisniewski: "It's an outstanding battle, because in my opinion they both can play and both can start in the NFL. They're kind of two different players. Luke is more of your athletic guy who can get out there, he can reach, he can scrape and get up to a linebacker, he's really athletic. Stef, he's more of your big, strong, sturdy guy."
  • O'Brien on running back T.J. Yeldon: "He came in as a true freshman and was very productive right off the bat. He's a big man with outstanding vision, very good lateral agility, and to be honest, he really knows how to run the ball."
