- In Week 7, the Jaguars (1-5) travel to the city of Los Angeles for the first time in franchise history to face the Chargers (1-4) on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 4:25 p.m. ET. In their last trip to the West Coast, the Jaguars overcame a 13-point deficit and defeated the Raiders, 20-16, after WR Chris Conley caught two fourth-quarter TDs from QB Gardner Minshew II in the final NFL game at the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum.
- The Los Angeles Chargers are currently leading the series 8-3. This is the eleventh time in history the teams will play each other and the first time the Jags will face the Chargers in Los Angeles.
