HOUSTON, Texas – The Jaguars' health for Week 1 is pretty much as expected.

Rookie cornerback Tyson Campbell as expected will be active for the 2021 regular-season opener, with cornerback Tre Herndon and defensive end/linebacker Jordan Smith the lone injured inactive Jaguars players Sunday against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Herndon will miss the game with a sprained medial collateral ligament.

Campbell, listed as questionable with a calf injury on the team's final injury of the week, was not among the seven inactive Jaguars players announced an hour and a half before kickoff Sunday. Rookie defensive end/linebacker Jordan Smith, listed as questionable with a knee injury, was inactive.

The Jaguars' other inactives Sunday:

Rookie offensive tackle Walker Little, safety Daniel Thomas, defensive lineman Adam Gotsis, defensive tackle Jay Tufele and tight end Jacob Hollister.
