JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' offensive line will be down a starter Sunday.

But it won't be down two starters. That's because guard Patrick Omameh will be active for the team's game at EverBank Field against the Los Angeles Rams.

Omameh, the team's starting left guard in the first five games of the season, had been listed as questionable with a hip injury on the team's final injury report of the week Friday. Starting center Brandon Linder was ruled out Friday because of an illness.

This will be Linder's second consecutive missed start with the issue. Third-year veteran Tyler Shatley, who started at center against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, again will start for Linder.

Wide receiver Jaelen Strong, who was acquired off waivers from Houston on September 19 and who practiced last week after being out with a hamstring injury, was among the seven players declared inactive an hour and a half before kickoff Sunday. The others:

Running back T.J. Yeldon, cornerback Jalen Myrick, linebacker Donald Payne, Linder, offensive lineman Josh Walker and offensive lineman William Poehls.

Wide receiver and special-teams ace Arrelious Benn, listed as questionable Friday with a groin injury, also will be active.
