JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' will be without one of their best defensive players again Sunday.

He was one of seven Jaguars players made inactive by the team 90 minutes before kickoff.

Smith has been in the concussion protocol since sustaining the injury two weeks ago against the Arizona Cardinals. He missed last week's victory over the Colts, marking the first time this season a Jaguars defensive players missed a game because of an injury.

Wide receiver Allen Hurns (ankle), cornerback Jalen Myrick, nose tackle Eli Ankou, offensive guard Chris Reed, offensive tackle Josh Walker and offensive tackle William Poehls.

Rookie Blair Brown will start in place of Smith for a second consecutive game and rookie Keelan Cole will start a fourth consecutive game for Hurns. Patrick Omameh, out for the last three games with a quadriceps injury, will start at left guard. Reed started in his place the last three games.
