The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed fifth-year cornerback Reggie Corner along with rookie wide receiver Charles Gilbert and rookie offensive tackle Dan Hoch.  The club waived wide receiver Chris Forcier, cornerback Dontrell Johnson and linebacker Donovan Richard.

Corner, 5-9, 175, spent the past four seasons with the Buffalo Bills where he played in 55 games with 13 starts.  He was a fourth-round draft pick of the Bills in 2008.  His career totals include 119 tackles (95 solo), two interceptions, 21 passes defensed and one sack.

A native of Canton, Ohio, Corner started 46 of 48 games at Akron.  He had at least one interception or pass defensed in 28 of the 48 games and tied for fourth in the nation as a senior with seven interceptions for 142 yards and one touchdown.  Corner graduated with a degree in early childhood education.  He attended McKinley High School in Ohio where he started at wide receiver and also participated in track and field.

Gilbert, 5-11, 167, attended the Jaguars rookie minicamp in May on a workout basis.  He played two seasons at Concordia and finished with 89 receptions for 1,941 yards and 25 touchdowns.  He also returned 29 kicks for a 23.3-yard average.  As a senior, Gilbert compiled 1,068 yards and 14 touchdowns.  He began his career at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida and was a three-sport athlete at Ridgeview High School in Jacksonville.

Hoch, 6-7, 320, was originally signed as a rookie free agent by New Orleans on April 30, 2012 and was waived on May 15.  He was a three-year starter at right tackle at Missouri where he was a teammate of Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert.  As a senior, Hoch earned All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades and was a second-team All-Big 12 selection as a junior.   He attended Harlan High School in Iowa and was named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year in 2007.
