Jaguars Celebrate NFL Play 60 on Sunday

This Sunday when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Houston Texans, the teams will celebrate NFL Play 60, the league-wide commitment to the health and wellness of the next generation. In addition to Play 60-specific in-stadium banners, goal post pads and on-field markings, the game day activities will feature 180 youth football participants from the Jacksonville area.

Twelve local youth football players will lead the Jaguars team onto the field for pregame introductions and will also participate in the coin toss prior to kickoff. Halftime will feature the annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition. In addition, the first 3,000 fans who enter the gates will receive an NFL Play 60 football magnet.

Designed to tackle childhood obesity by encouraging youth to be active for at least 60 minutes per day, NFL Play 60 is an ongoing commitment from the league to health and fitness. Many of the community appearances and activities that Jaguars players participate in throughout the year are related to NFL Play 60 and are designed to further promote this important NFL initiative.
