The Jacksonville Jaguars partnered with the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund to honor children tackling cancer and their families at Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Jaguars SVP/Jaguars Foundation Peter Racine said, "As part of our ongoing partnership with the Jay Fund and the NFL's Crucial Catch campaign, we are honored to work with Jaguars Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin to bring awareness to childhood cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children and we wanted to recognize the Jay Fund's ongoing efforts to support local families tackling the disease."

Fifty-two pediatric cancer patients and their families attended the game as special guests of the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation in partnership with the Jaguars. The group wore Tom Coughlin Jay Fund T-shirts in solidarity with families tackling childhood cancer.  Prior to the game, they were treated to a tailgate party hosted at WJCT Studios. The patients and families enjoyed the Jaguars' pregame warm-ups on the field  and were recognized in-stadium.

Keli Coughlin, Executive Director of the Jay Fund, explained, "We see first-hand how childhood cancer affects the whole family. Opportunities like a Jaguars game help create meaningful memories for families during a time of crisis." Ms. Coughlin added, "We thank the Jaguars on behalf of the hundreds of local families dealing with childhood cancer every day for helping raise awareness."

The Jaguars Foundation supports the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund through grants and event sponsorships, and provides complimentary tickets for families to attend each home game.
