JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– The Jacksonville Jaguars kick off a key three-game home stand this Sunday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. at EverBank Field. With an AFC South division title on the line, the team is calling on fans to help provide a true home field advantage from kickoff to the final play.
"On Sunday, we return home to EverBank Field for a divisional matchup and an opportunity to improve to 8-4," said Jaguars star CB Jalen Ramsey. "From warm ups, to introductions, to the opening kickoff, until the final whistle, we need to feel your energy so we can keep the place rocking. As players, we on the field are going to give everything we have, and we need the same from you, our fans. On behalf of my teammates, we have felt the passion of the stadium when it's at its loudest, and we need that each and every play this weekend. We are so appreciative of your loyalty and we can't wait to see everyone on Sunday. Let's be sure to make this a December to remember in DUVAL, and this is 2.0 of your very own Jackson 5 signing off."
Fans tailgating around EverBank Field and those already inside the stadium gates will hear and see a special call to action on Sunday when fireworks launch from the south end zone video board at 12:35 p.m. at the conclusion of player warmups. When fans see the "Cat Signal," they'll know kickoff is 25 minutes away and it's time to head to your seats to get ready for the team to take the field.
Jaxson de Ville will get the crowd going early with his traditional bungee jump, which will now occur before player introductions. Guest services team members are prepped and ready to help fans get through security and find their seats as quickly as possible.
The Jaguars are looking to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2007 when they defeated the Steelers in Pittsburgh in the AFC Wild Card round before falling to the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round. The last time the Jaguars hosted a home playoff game in Jacksonville was the 1999 season when they fell to the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game after defeating the Miami Dolphins in the AFC Divisional Round.
