JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Get ready to feel the teal, Jacksonville!  The Jacksonville Jaguars are painting the town teal the next two weeks in the lead up to the team's home game versus the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 5, when the team will wear teal jerseys for the first time since 2013. The Jaguars are calling upon the Jacksonville community to join the #FOREVERTEAL campaign by sporting the color at EverBank Field for the team's annual homecoming game.

"The history of this football team features teal, and the color invokes many great memories for Jaguars fans," said Jaguars Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin. "For a special occasion like our annual Homecoming game it's appropriate to bring back teal along with our alumni players.  We're encouraging our fans to wear teal on game day and help give us a true home field advantage."

The full #FOREVERTEAL campaign will hit Jacksonville today, Oct. 23, and run through the team's bye week before taking over the 'Bank on game day. Jaguars.com and all Jaguars social media channels have already taken on a distinct teal look, and the team is encouraging fans to join the conversation using #FOREVERTEAL. Across the next two weeks, followers of the team will see plenty of teal content, including online contests, teal reels featuring highlights from classic Jaguars games and a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to turn up the teal around the stadium. Fans should keep an eye out for the Jaguars Prowler and JaxPack members handing out teal Jags gear at Jacksonville Pub Club locations around town.

On game day, fans can expect a complete teal washout across all video board content and all-new teal field flags to celebrate a Jaguars score.  Members of THE ROAR of the Jaguars, the JaxPack and the D-Line will all sport teal.  Delaware North, the official food and beverage provider of EverBank Field, will be serving teal drinks and dessert options at select concessions stands.  To help fans get game-day ready, Fanatics has already launched an all-teal shop to shop.jaguars.com/Forever_Teal and will be featuring teal merchandise at all in-stadium Jaguars Pro Shop locations.

The Jaguars will wear teal jerseys for the first time since Oct. 20, 2013, and will likely sport black pants with their teal tops for the first time since the 2006 season. For five seasons from 2002-06, the Jaguars wore their teal jerseys with either their black or white pants. In the team's early history from 1995-2001, the Jaguars sported teal jerseys for the majority of their home games, but always with white pants.

The Bengals game serves as the team's annual homecoming game and more than 50 Jaguars alumni players who helped create the teal legacy will be in attendance and will be recognized at halftime.

"On behalf of the players, we are excited about the opportunity to wear teal for our homecoming game on Nov. 5 against the Bengals," said Jaguars defensive captain and former Pro Bowl LB Paul Posluszny. "With alumni returning to EverBank Field, we are honoring the history of our organization by wearing a color that is near and dear to the team and its supporters. I look forward to putting on the teal threads and representing our city like legends of Jaguars past, and it is sure to be an exciting and emotional afternoon when we face Cincinnati at home on Nov. 5."

Kickoff for the Nov. 5 matchup against the Bengals is set for 1 p.m. at EverBank Field.  Tickets as low as $49 are still available for purchase at www.jaguars.com or by calling 904-633-2000.  The Jaguars are still featuring half-season ticket packages, featuring select locations, for as low as $244 for the remaining five games of the season.
