What are some of your Gameday traditions?
· Being at the stadium as soon as parking opens to Tailgate.
· Purchasing Game Day pins (we are only missing 3 pins since they began selling them over 20 years ago).
What is one item on your Jaguars bucket list?
The only thing better than attending the Super Bowl would be attending the Super Bowl with the Jaguars playing in it.
In 2024 as we celebrate our 25th consecutive year as season ticket holders, I would love to be honored as "Veteran of the Game" during a home game on or about my 70th birthday (October 2nd). In 2024 I will also be celebrating 50 years since joining the Navy in 1974.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
In 1974, when I was 19 years old and recently laid off from my job, I was considering joining the Navy, but was undecided. After speaking to one of my close friends from high school, she encouraged me and was a positive influence that led to my decision to join the Navy. I can't imagine where I would be today without my Navy career.
Tell us a little about your life outside of the Jaguars (family, pets, hobbies, etc.)
Juanita is the love of my life. Her son Lucas has blessed us with four beautiful grandchildren: Victoria (24), Phillip (21), Andrew (16), and William (10), who all live in Jacksonville. We also have a special needs son, Brandon, who lives in a Group Home and spends time with us weekly. Our 4-legged family members include our 2-year-old Aussiedoodle, Max, and 13-year-old cat, Lily. My hobbies include playing golf with my retired Navy buddies and enjoying my 1966 Mustang Fastback with weekend drives and attending local car shows. Juanita and I are Season Partners at the Alhambra Theatre and enjoy attending shows. We also enjoy going on Cruises with our favorite Cruise line, Royal Caribbean. We love to travel and hope to add to our adventures after I retire later this year.
